I call these nearly perfect bangles because from afar, they are flawless and shiny, but up close you can see the signs of a handmade piece. Whether it’s a few forgotten scratches from my files, tiny marks from my hammer, a slightly misshapen curve, or a little flow of solder- you can tell these bracelets were made by hand (by me!)
Though they are ever so slightly flawed, they are a very durable bracelet that you’ll never ever need to take off! I form the shape of these bangles by hand to give each one an oval, organic look.
I love wearing multiples of these so they make noise while you move about your day. Whenever I notice my jewelry catching the light, or making little sounds- I try to bring myself into the present moment, take a deep breath, and slow down. I hope you’ll see their flaws as signs of uniqueness, and perhaps you’ll find them perfect afterall.
These bangles are made with USA recycled sterling silver, or USA made 14k gold filled. Gold filled is not a solid gold, but rather a pressure bonded metal containing 100x more solid gold than plated jewelry. It won’t last lifetimes like solid gold, but it should last decades with minimal polishing along the way.
The more you wear your bangles the less they will need to be polished- go ahead! Shower, workout & sleep in them- they’ll be fine!
Sizing for bangles can be tricky, so if you don’t order the right size please reach out and I’ll assist with an exchange! I recommend measuring your knuckles with a flexible tape measure as shown in the listing photo- get a snug fit! I prefer my bangles to be really tight as I take them on and off so that they’re not too loose around my wrists.
