frequently asked questions

What is welded jewelry?

Welded jewelry, also known as permanent jewelry, refers to custom fit chains that fit securely around a wrist or anklet and are intended to be long-lasting. Instead of a clasp, a 14k gold or sterling silver jump ring is welded shut so the chain will not slip off.

People may choose to get permanent jewelry for aesthetic reasons, as a form of self-expression, or as a reminder for the intentions we set for ourselves. Additionally, some individuals see it as a way to symbolize personal meaning, commemorate an event, or celebrate a friendship or relationship.

How long have you been welding?

I started welding in 2018 at a prestigious jewelry company in Brooklyn, NY. They started this whole trend back in 2016 & I was right there with them when it started going viral. We went from 50 appointments a week to 500 a week within a short month! I oversaw the training of over 40 jewelers on the welding process, and helped set industry standards we see everywhere today. I love all of my permanent jewelry- my first welded bracelet is over 5 years old! I hope you fall in love with it just like I did!

What is the cost?

I offer a wide variety of chains in many different price points! I only charge per bracelet- not per inch. Below is a range depending on the chain style of that metal- not the wrist size! Necklace and anklet prices available upon request.

Sterling Silver Bracelets: $58-$88
Gold Filled: $68-$78
Solid 14k Gold: $118-$218

Custom Stamped Charms: $38
Solid Gold Bezel Set Diamonds: $78

Do you offer charms?

I do! I have a selection of charms that will be at every event with me.. diamonds, tiny hearts & custom charms with initials or dates. If you have a specific charm in mind please reach out before the event and I will do my best to source it for you!

It is important to note that many charms add significant wear and tear on the chains, so I only offer tiny charms I feel confident will not stress the integrity of your bracelet!

Can you repair other welded jewelry?

Absolutely! If the chain wasn't from Saintly, I charge a $10 welding fee to cover the cost of a new jump ring, machine and labor.

What happens if it breaks?

While I am confident in my welding capabilities- life happens! I offer a lifetime complimentary repair on any Saintly piece.

It is possible that the bracelet can get caught on something, accidentally cut off, or there is a flaw in the chain or in my welding (extremely rare! but I am only human!) No matter the reason, I am here to help! You are welcome to come to any event or set up an appointment and I will happily repair it for you.

If you decide you no longer want your welded bracelet on you forever- you may cut the chain with scissors at the jump ring and mail it to me! I will add a clasp and mail it back to you. Please reach out via the contact form for my mailing address.
