Each earring is made by hammering a recycled mini sterling silver disk or a 14k gold filled disk until my desired texture is achieved. Here I am shooting for the texture of the moon. I create the little fringes by hammering recycled sterling silver wire flat, sawing to length and filing away the rough edges by hand. I then make little holes in the fringe and the moon and create jump rings to attach all my little pieces together. I solder the jump rings shut so everyone is secure, and solder a post for earrings.
These earrings make the sweetest sounds with movement, though they are very comfortable and lightweight. I hope when you hear them throughout your busy days, it reminds you to slow down and take note of your present moment.
Sterling silver or gold filled can be cleaned with any silver polishing cloth or polishing solution. They are safe to wear in the shower, and the more you wear them the less they will need to be cleaned! Kindly note that each earring is uniquely handmade and will not be an exact replica of the earrings pictured here, though it will be extremely close!
